I'm ready to buy a 3dfx card and I was hoping to get some feedback
from some of you that have them already as to which is the best and is
there one better just around the corner to be released that is worth
waiting for? I'll mainly be using this for N2 and N3 when it comes
out. Also, I have heard that you can put two 3dfx cards together and
get twice the result. Has anyone tried this and is it a real advantage
to have two together as opposed to just one? Any info on the price
range of these cards would be a big help too. Thanks for any and all
help.

I have a Monster 3D II with 12 MB of Memory.
When you use the Nascar 2 3DFX patch, and set
the texture memory parameter up to 8MB the effects
are awesome! PC Gamer, and PC Games gave this
card their highest rating. It comes bundled with 3 Full
Programs (Battlezone, Incoming, and Monster Truck
Madness 2).
I got my Monster 3D II from PC Connection for $279.00
I can't wait to see when Nascar Racing 3 comes out to see
what it looks like with this system. Let's hope that Sierra
meets the Christmas Ship Date!!!

NASCAR 3 ships.

I'm very PC illiterate when it comes to software issues.  I installled a
Creative 12MB Voodoo2.  I D/L the 3dfx patch but not even sure if its working?
Is there an easy way to tell if your PC is using Voodoo card?  Where do I set
up texture memory paramater?
