Try creating a file called core.ini in your main GPL directory
containing the following two lines:

[ Communications ]
alternate_ip_addr_lookup = 1

GPL and ADSL Connection

GPL and ADSL

Trying to connect to a host via an ADSL connection, yet there's no TCP/IP
option in my connection list. If I establish a DUNS connection, I get a
TCP/IP address in the list. But in the absence of a dial-up connection, I
only have the internal modem, and serial ports listed.

Alison's FAQs didn't seem to address this. Can someone help?

My ISP's news server is on shaky ground at the moment, so if you could reply
via e-mail, I'd be appreciative. Thanks!

Check your readme.txt in the GPL directory, there is a line you have
to add to core.ini to make GPL look at your adsl modem TCP/IP.

Seeyas on the track.
