Really? I don't think thats acceptable to do that. There's no warning at all
during installation.
Although I've been pretty lucky with StarFarce, its only corrupted 1 of my
optical drives....

Even Need for Speed Carbon runs better than Mcrap.

Maybe they should throw in an optical drive with Starforce games in
future......
I'd install the game, but instead it is going to sit on the shelf or
in the garbage can as my PC is also my business PC and it's how I earn
a living. From now on, before buying any software or a game, I am
going to check some websites to see if starforce is included!
Thanks,

Just an update, I turned res down to 1280X960 and it runs much better.
Definitely need to turn down the bloom effects a notch or two

I thought about looking for something at GCW but was unsure at what
point Starforce gets installed.
Thanks!!!
Do you know if backing up the registry and makin a system restore
point efore the install of Dirt would protect my dvd-rw and cd-rw
drives? I am pretty darn sure that Grand Prix Legends with Starforce
destroyed them or made them inoperatble!

The GCW site has always given me fits. There is no link to download
the no dvd exe, it just highlights and does nothing. If I click on
the File Archive, a text box opens with some code in it!!!
