Does this mean that OpenGL will no longer be the preferred graphics mode?

I don't quite understand the repercussions of what was printed.

An improved damage model is always welcome.

However, how about an improved REPAIR model?

Up till now, you got one swing of the hammer, and that was it.  No additive
damage repair.  You get what you get in the next pit stop, and that's it.

In REAL racing, each time you pit the crew can improve the car just a little
bit more.

Hey, if they are gonna beat me up harder, at least give me the chance to fix
it right :)

Actually, I think Papyrus focused really on what you ask for, the repair
model and how damage affects you on the track (before or after repair).  It
was written in that gamespot interview, iirc.

Good point, I've wondered about that too.

Well, not really.

I didn't see anything about repairs being more realistic, and additive with
multiple pit stops.

Really?  I'm sure I've read that somewhere, or was told by somebody.

DirectX.
