Currently I use a LWFF,but I'm thinking about getting a Force RS with
shifter. My main question is,how does your wheel feel after a few months
of use?Does it feel smooth in GPL,no stiction or notchiness?Any slop in
the drive shaft?Jitter free?
TIA

Feels better than the day I got it.

Notchiness is a fact of life with the
RS, but I don't find it to be a
problem.  Compare a slight notchiness
to what a driver in a real car exp-
eriences in terms of shocks and
vibration.  There should be no
extra stiction in the wheel.

None.

Yes.

I agree with Pat.  I might add that the pedals are a bit 'sticky' at first,
but definitely smooth up after use.

The ACT-LABS Force RS is definitely a solid built unit.  Also, buy now and I
think they have a special still going on the RS Shifter combo with the
wheel.

Hello,

All our wheels at work and the one I have at home feel "smoother"
after use.  It usually takes about 10 hours of use to break the Kevlar
reinforced belts in.  After about 20 hours of use, the wheel will feel
very smooth.
As for the promo package, we have that available until January 10,
2000.  It includes the Force RS Wheel and the Force RS Shifter for a
bundled price of $169.98.  If you are planning on getting this combo,
do it soon.  Not only is demand very high, but it is unlikely that we
will offer such a deal again.

*whew*   I thought maybe I missed this option being a new year and this is
my first time in the ng as I'm looking into simm racing.  Been thinking
about it for awhile and ready to try something different than the strategy
games
I love to play (I suck at air simms).  I also went to a 3 day racing school
(Skip Barber's) so got that "racing fever" but am not willing to take my
Corvette onto the track at Homestead for a "gentlemen's race".

I would guess by all the posts that GPL is the best racing simm.  What
about street cars such as Corvettes, Vipers, Ferraris, etc?
