GP1 Wheel & Win95

I have a GP1 steering wheel and an ESS Technologies soundcard &
gameport. I have no problems what soever running this combination in Dos
but when I try to calibrate the wheel in Win 95 everything goes OK until
I depress the brake lever when I get the message "your joystick is not
connected correctly".

I have tried every joystick type including custom but to no avail, I
have even tried installing different drivers but still no joy.

Is there someone out there who Knows what is going on or do I have to
play ICR2 using the keyboard.

Cheers

You have to use the little black adapter that came in your GP1 box.  Turn
your computer off, plug it into the Wheel, then plug it into the sounboard
joystick port. (Remember, you'll have to remove it again to play your DOS
games correctly).

Thanks for the response but I am using the adapter. However I also leave
it connected for DOS games and everything works fine. So maybe there is
a fault with the adapter.
