Europress Rally Ch Problem

by Alan Pengel » Thu, 18 Sep 1997 04:00:00

HI

I've been using Rally Championship by Europress for a few
months now - not a bad sim on the whole, but there's one thing
that is really bugging me. Has anyone else noticed that you
actually go faster around the corners if you crash rather than
keep on the line? What brought it to my attention was the fact
that my 8 yr old son was getting faster times than me. I had no
problem with that - in fact I was rather pleased. But when I
watched him he was bouncing from one side of the road to the
other. Now I've done a bit of competative driving so I was rather
perplexed with this. On closer examination I'm drawn to the
following conclusion - that there must be an incorrect sign
in the program which rather than adding time (when you go off
line) it takes it away. I've taken some corners extremely
quickly and seen the time increase much more than expected.

Anyone else got a view on this?

Cheers

Alan
