Europress Network Q RAC Rally with Matrox Millenium

With the greatest respect to Europress, this has got to be the
buggiest game I've come across.

Firstly the game insists that you have a fairly large chunk of
real memory to run the thing. I have tried and tried and tried
to make it run in Win95 Dos mode. But I can't squeeze enough
real memory out of it. Even if I turn of my soundblaster and
only leave in a driver for the CD I still can't get enough real
memory. I mean what is this rubbish!! Screamer, Screamer 2, NFS
Nascar all just ran, no if's, no buts. The days of ***ing about
with autoexec's and config's should be over.
Okay, I got it running in and Windows95 window, but this they say
impinges performance!!

Secondly, there is no VGA mode, so unless you have a Cray XMP you are
faced with having to run in a postage stamp window. Screamer, screamer2
NFS all have VGA modes.

Thirdly, to try and get better graphics performance I aquired a Matrox
Millenium 2mb. Everything seems OK, until to get to race, you know THE
GAME!!! Everything locks up.

Now I know from monitoring Europress's Bulliten Board that they would
give some half***ed answer, saying that I haven't supplied enough
information. I have even tried getting information from them.

They are delaying posting a patch disk (Patch CD would be more
appropriate!!). *** had one out within days for Screamer 2.

Anyhow!! Does anyone have the solution to my problem with RAC Rally
locking up. the screen freezes and I have to cold start.

Thanks for listening
