I was wondering if anyone could recommend any decent Nascar Sims. I have
heard Nascar 3 is being released shortly, is Nascar 99 any good or should I
wait? Is Nascar 99 more simulation than arcade??
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Isn't Nascar99 a product by EA?
BTW if all someone wants in Atlanta and the Glen, they don't need to buy
anything.
Just Download NROSDEMO.ZIP.
Why do people insist on refering to it as Nascar?
It is NASCAR......not Nascar.
It's referring... not refering.

There is only one Nascar sim. That is made by Papyrus. There are several versions made over the years. They are Nascar Racing, Nascar Racing 2, Nascar 2 50th Anniversary Edition, Nascar Racing 1999 Edition, Nascar Craftsman Truck Series Racing and the somewhere down the road to be released Nascar Racing 3. Right now the best choice would be Nascar Racing 1999 Edition as it includes WC,BGN,Trucks and online Multiplayer options.

I think the EA NASCAR99 is console-only (not PC), so not that much
confusion. The EA PC product is "NASCAR Revolution", often referred
to here as "NASCAR Revulsion", which should tell you something about
it. :)
About EA racing sims - I picked up Konami's Bill Elliott's NASCAR
Challenge (circa 1990. $3) and EA's Andretti Racing (1997, $5) as
cut-outs the other day (just curious, y'know). So far, I think the
driving model in BENC is superior, but the graphics are definitely
better in AR. So EA's brought the level of racing sim technology to a
new level. :)
