You said it.
I agree that we really DON'T need a FORD or CHEVROLET or PONTIAC
product in the simulation for it to be marketed. As you said ----- I
am sure the royalties were beginning to look outrageous as they
started to see visions of spectacular dollar sogns dance in theri
heads -------- and these are as close to a REAL FORD, CHEVROLET, or
PONTIAC as a Volkswagen is to a Mercedes Benz.
Once the competition gets going ------ who gives a hoot what it says
on the exterior or what number it is ---- for that matter.
If you have your concentration in the right place ------ everything
else is secondary anyway.
I think the comment as the fellas at PAPYRUS going out and making
car sets available for the various simulations --------------
GREAT IDEA !!!!!!!!!!!!
I can guarantee you I would by a Bunch of different sets from these
guys --------- and you know they would be top notch with their
background.
Perhaps too ----------- they would see it in their structure to make
modifications that the public would like to have that are not
available in the original sims as released to the public -------
IE ============= a AI slider bar for adjusting the competition
level to the person who wons the sim.
I have said this more than a few times --------- not everyone has
the time to devote to this sim to become proficient enough to compete
at the level of competition of the AI
I have been able to get my times to within just a few seconds on all
the tracks except the "Ring -------- but it has been tough going
-------- and one hell of a learning curve.
The ability to dial in the level of competition would be ideal.
Now --------- I will get off the soapbox as well ..........
