Does anybody here remember the DooM Alpha release? Back then in 1993 or so?
It required the enormous amount of 8MB RAM to load [I remember that because we
couldn't test it anywhere else than on the university lab's newly acquired
486 DX-40's with 15-inch monitors and Windows for Workgroups 3.11 (!) ], but
later, ther final release only required 4MB of RAM... Was this something
similar?
