I just installed my new 3D card, and my N2 is running very slow under the
Rendition mode.  Do you know of anything I could try to solve this problem?

Make sure you're running the renddma version.  If that's the version
that's running slow for you, download the DMAtest program (see my
utilities page) and let us know your DMA scores.

Nascar 2 has different command line options for starting the Rendition
version.  The ***st option is RENDDMA.BAT which turns on DMA
access for the video card.  The disadvantage is that some systems may
be incompatible with DMA mode so the FIFO mode is used instead
(N2REND.BAT).

Experiment with both!
