NFS Porcshe Unleashed Lockup!

I have a problem with NFS:PU. It's locking up at almost the same point in
any race. I start a quick race at any track and usually about half way
through the race the game freezes with the sound of the engine still running
at it's last rev. Screen is frozen looking like a snap or screen shot.

I have an extensvive collection of of racing sims/games including all of the
NFS series F1-2000, GPL and all other PAPY stuff, SCGT, TOCA1 & 2, MGPRS2 &
F1RS and so forth. NONE of these give me any problem it's just Porcshe
Unleashed.

Any help?

If you use a screensaver in Windows, try deactivating it.

This is a shot in the dark, but do you have a GeForce card??
If so, you need to use the 3.77 drivers that ship with Porsche Unleashed on
the CD.
It won't work with any older drivers (including 3.68!)
