Hello,

When you're in a race and you're in the pits . . . do you have to manually
select fuel load and tires and press FIRE or does the pit crew do it for
you.

If you have to do it by yourself would that mean that you have to select
all those things as fast as possible ??

Thanks.

Hi,

You just need to press fire. Unlike Gp1 you don't need to hold down the
brake. If you do you'll keep selecting the other choices so the pitstop
won't move along. Took me a while to figure out too.

Cheers,

Jan.

Hello,

I am trying to learn how to drive GP2 without steering help.  It seems
to be the only way I'll be able to get into the GP2 H.O.F. with the
"big boys".  What are the recommended settings for disabling steering
help, with regards to degrees of max lock and percentage to reduce with
speed ??  I use a T2, but I also use a joystick, so recommended
settings for both devices would be appreciated.

One more question:  Do you fellas use opposite lock when you disable
steering help, and does using it affect laptimes noticably ??

Thank you all,
JDM

This one is just like asking how one sets up the car for hot laps.  It
seems that everyone has a different style of driving.  I like to up the
sensitivity levels a fair amount.  I also think it depends on you
joystick controller and how touch it is.  I will include the T1/2 con
file I use.  The trick is to work with a stable car setup and play with
the settings in the *.con file until you feel comfortable.  Then start
working on your car setups.  Don't do it the other way around.

begin 644 t1_test2.con
MOJ$]A0(                                    & 3< $% ," %0" %0

end
