I have noticed that when I pit for damage repair I hear air guns. This has
raised some questions about tyres.
1). Does anyone know if the crew actually changes the *** on an unscheduled
pitstop?
2). If so, how does one manage to govern the allocation of tyre sets? If I
pit twice for damage within the first 20 laps am I left with only one set of
race tyres?
3). Does the crew put the tyres on the car in order r1,r2,r3,r4 or do they go
to the freshest tyres first?
4). If I pit for damage and scheduled stops for a total of more than 3 stops
am I out of tyres?
