I've just started a championship season and finished my first full
length race at Brazil. During the race I made 2 pit stops. My question
is, are the tyres being changed? I cant hear any sound related to the
tyres being replaced. All I can really see is the option of how much
fuel to load. Thanks for any info.

I'm in the same situation: I've just started a championship season (only
on semi-pro level, though ;). I failed miserably at Brazil after a few
laps,
however during the next race in Aida I had a few pitstops (actually,
more
than I really wanted to have... :( ).
I can definitely tell you that the tires do get changed. They always get
changed to the tire that has the least amount of laps. (I've had a
situation
when I have already used up all of the 4 racing sets - in this case my
tires got replaced by the set that had the least amounf of laps in it.)
How do I know they get changed? After a pitstop my laptimes are much
better
and the car is more stable - I can take corners a tad faster than with a
worn tire-set after many laps.
