I've been playing N3 for a while now, and I really enjoy it...the only problem I have is that the sounds don't seem to work unless I use 8-bit. Now, the setup I have:
P233 w/128MB RAM
6X CDROM
Diamond Sonic Impact S90
DirectX7
Should be able to handle the 16-bit, but why doesn't it work? Any help would be appreciated....

I've noticed that with some cards, such as my CL SB Live that already took a shit, that the volume had to be turned up EXTREMELY high to hear sound in N3. My cat about jumped out of his skin when I rebooted and the startup sound played. (He sleeps on the hutch on my desk, right beside the speaker). At the same volume level, N3 was hardly audible.
