Has anyone else noticed all the driver helmets are white, and if you you a
custom car set
with colored helmets the helmets randomly appear on different cars during
the race, and move
from car to car during the race?

You're not alone, others have noticed this as well.  I'm not sure if
this is among fixes in the new indycar.exe available from Intergraph,
but you might want to try it.
