Vincent, I concur the "feature" exists, experienced using the TM
Formula T2, and is accompanied by excessive tyre squeal sound effects.

Tyre temps are fine, yet from the correct entry line for the apex the
car pushes right into the wall at *relatively* low speeds. Shades of
NASCAR.

Hopefully??, it's only a function of the demo's arcade mode, and will
disappear with the ability to select a more serious simmode and adjust
setup? Rick?

I don't know the insides of the code, but my guess is that it's a function
of lower grip (than ICR 1.x).  It's quite possible to push too hard and
then it "understeers", but it's still quite drivable, and from observation
at the real Laguna I think the speeds are a lot more realistic now.

I encounter the same problem. After trying a few time to control the
car, I gave up... and blew this sucking demo out of my HD !

        I *loved* indycar I, but i probably won't buy ICR2.

You can't really change any of the car set-up in the DEMO.  You can
however (I only tried it for Michigan) copy a file called ACE.STG to
DEFAULT.SG1 and you will get a car that doesn't push.  I was able to get
about 1 MPH faster (238.850) with it, or maybe it was luck, kind of hard
to tell.

My initial impression of IRC2 after driving the original IRC was that it
seemed different and I didn't like it.  But you just have to drive it for
a while.  Now I really like it.  It does seem more accurate in vehical
dynamics and spinouts.

Main reason is the steering lock.  If you use keyboard and use
the preset "18degrees" in Laguna Seca, then you will get a LOT of
understeer.  I got a similar situation in icr 1.  In icr 1 I lost at
least 5 sec per lap after I changed it from 8 to 14 degrees.  I think
they should add functions like steering help for the keyboard users.

Take the defalut setup and delete it.  Then take the ace setup and
rename it to replace the deleted default setup.  I believe the file
is default.st1.

I noticed the same, vs. ICR.  I noticed that this year at Laguna, the
real cars braked quite heavily and downshifted  into 4 & 5, much more
than you need to for  ICR.  I have to guess this is because of the
lower downforce on the newer machines.  This  makes sense if you
consider ICR is based on...what...1993 versions?

But it seems that the wing angles is set to almost the maximum in the
default setup! The car is almost undriveable, anyone who run 239.??? tell me
how can you do that?
