Gfx card advice

Hi folks,

I'm going to update my graphics card (GF4MX 440) soon, and I would
like to have your thoughts on wether to go for a geforce ti 4200 or
the newer model FX5600. The latter seems to have come down in price a
bit recently and can be had for 100 or so (about $100).

Thanks in advance for your time,

Uwe

The GF4 ti 4200 has been superseded as the best card per buck by its team
mate the GF4 ti 4800.

I provided two customers with them recently and whilst testing found them to
be quite a bit faster than the 4200.

I chose Gainward Golden Samples and both were under 75

And the 4800 GS massively outperforms the 5600 and you save money.

Cool, thanks for the tip, Aidee. Looks like I'll go 4800 huntin' then
;-)
