OK, I've installed GPL, having has to run NT4 not Win 98. It gets through
the 3Dfx splash screen, and the first title screen, but that's it. GPL the
quite out to the desktop. Any ideas??

Hi Douglas,

DirectX 6.0 is not supported, AFAIK, under NT4, you will have to wait for
Windows 2000 (NT5).

Maybe GPL 1.1 would fix it?

HELP for NT and GPL

You can do an ftp search for nt4dx5.exe and see if it helps.  It's the
DirectX drivers from NT5 beta 1, but they work with NT 4.  I've managed to
make quite a few games work on NT.  Haven't tried GPL, but it should work.

GPL 1.0 does not work on Windows NT.  The GPL 1.1 patch addresses this,
but the patch has not been released yet.  There's one more thing we're
working on.
