TOCA Race Driver 3 is reportedly been released. The bad news is that
Codemasters is still using Starforce protection on their software. The
pics and movies look pretty decent. You can race anything from go
carts, dirt modifieds,4x4 trucks, muscle cars to street modifieds to F1 cars.

But starforce protection, come on. I cant risk another system to this
system destroyer.

So you are categorically stating that Starforce destroyed your system ?
Did you take them to court ?

Don't Starforce offer 25,000 reward if anyone can prove their software
'breaks' anything?

Andi.

Yes. But you have to pay your own way to Moscow and reproduce the problem
repeatedly for them to pay up.

Just last week some guy said SF broke 2 drives....  Proof of anything doesnt
matter to you or any of your *** theorist brethren...  You'll just
wiggle into another senseless and stupid diatribe about SF being the devil
incarnate without proof of anything...

Just wait a few years and you will look back on SF as a very convenient copy
protection scheme.  Its going to get worse and you fools/crooks are the
reason not the answer...

Hi, FYI you've got a software problem with your ng reader/poster - it's
putting in capital "M"s where there should be capital "B"s. HTH. Have a
nice day.

I want to see what this game is about.  There's a lot of different types of
cars to drive, but this stupid unlocking limits things.

Anyone got a freakin' cheat?  :)

I can state that it affected the operation of my CDRW drive. I was not
able to select but a 16X write speed on a 40X drive after a few months
after startforce install. I removed the starforce protection and
immediately upon reboot, it showed that I could write at 40X speed.. Can
you explain that coincidence?

Regardless, Toca Race Driver 3 (getting back on the subject matter)
looks very nice. I would download the demo (which is now available) but
alas, it has starforce protection too. I guess the only option to test
it would be to download the protection removed version since they have
now figured out how to remove this trash from the game.
Its a shame when you want to purchase a worthy game but cant due to
products installed that can harm your sytem

Has anyone downloaded the demo yet??? How does it handle? Are the
physics better than GTL ???  THanks for any input.
