I was mucking around with XTGOLD for Dos in a WIN95 window when I
discovered an option on XT to execute a program with full memory.
I pressed Alt-X whilst highlighting Nascar.exe and to my surprise
the program loaded!
I managed to play the game as normal in full screen and then
played it in a dos window. The dos window is hellishly slow
though.
I tried doing the same with indycar with no success...I still have
to exit to dos to load it.
Since getting the final version of WIN95 (I did the beta) I can no
longer run F1GP as I don`t have enough conventional
memory...Whereas previously I would have run memmaker, It doesn`t
have all the files anymore as WIN95 seems to have deleted
them...Any suggestions?
Also I heard a rumour that the Final Version of WIN95 has yet to
be released (Sounds daft doesn`t it!!) and this accounts for the
masses of bugs in it. Releasing December???
