Make sure you've removed the .sample extension from the end of
core.ini.sample

No FF on my MSFF as well. Can't see a 'core.ini.sample' file in the
directory, only 'core ini'. This is followed by the description 'Sample
File'. This is from the UK download site at Papy. Any other ideas...?

In the entry for FF in the core.ini file make sure the value is 1
not 0.

There's your problem, the file is still named core.ini.sample, but the
.sample extension is being hidden by Windows.  Open this file with
Notepad, choose Save As and use the filename "core.ini" (those quotes
will force the filename core.ini).

If Windows is telling you it's a sample file then it has an extension you're
just not seeing. Rename the file and name it core.ini. Likely that you have
"Show File Extensions" turned off in Explorer. The extension is where explorer
gets the file type description from.

Works fine with mine.
Did you set the "allow_force_feedback" Value to "1" ?
(I forgot it first)

Bye, B.

Great fix Eric!!!  Thanks. So simple, if only I had read the ****ing
Microsoft Manual! But who does? Anyway, renamed the core.ini with the " ".
Nothing. So went back and did what I should have done in the first place and
changed the Windows Explorer to show full file names. Yes, I had a file now
called core.ini.ini. Got rid of an 'ini' and hey presto, full FF!!
