Just testing - the same thing happened with GPLegends.  Everyone cried
foul - but of course they all downloaded it in secret...

Before you hop on your high horse - think back to that time.

PS Looking forward to my legal copy of GP3 on July 28.

Whats the secret? I dloaded the beta gpl and bought the game when it came
out, explain to me who got hurt in the process. I'll tell you who gets hurt
by warez, its the companys that make shitty rts/action games that people
download and then delete 5 minutes later saying thank got I didnt buy that
crap. If I see gp3 warez I will download it straight away, I already have
gp3 on pre-order but no I cannot wait I want it now now now NOW!

Never argue with an idiot.  He brings you down to his level, then beats you

Yeah, me too.  I like seeing all those nice looking computer game boxes
on my shelves.  Even if I now don't play most of 'em.  Come to think of
it, nearly all of them.  Still, I would rather have them than any warez
copies anyday.

No person's opinions can be said to be
more correct than another's, because each is

Hmmm, just that they are not found among the software developers who
release a steaming pile of horse manure amid huge fanfare of
marketing.

I make a point always to try before I buy, via demo, friend's copy or
whatever. Then, I *always* buy the game. That way I stay as honest as
I can, and keep developers as honest as I can.

If you, as you state with emphasis, "*always* buy the game", why try before
you buy?

"Friend's copy "? That's not allowed under most EULAs.  I presume "whatever"
refers to some other illegal means also. Personally, I wait for demo's. I
will not be rushing to the shops to buy GP3, or any other new release. I can
wait for the official demo,  then, I shall try, and, if I like it, I shall
buy.

Slight variation here. I try to experience any new game before I
buy, and if I don't like it enough to buy it then it's off my HD.

Of course sometimes I buy anyway (waiting for 28 July...  ^_^  )

There's no way to keep developers honest. Nor is there any such
thing as a 'help' desk inside your own organisation...

Martin D. Pay
Had a particularly trying time with his company 'help' desk
today...  :(
