Why is it, that sometimes as I try to start off from the pits, the car
reverts to automatic shift, when I want to shift manually? I go and
look, but the automatic shift is unchecked. I use a TSW.

I have the same problem. Have to go check the shift box and put a check in it
and remove it. Then I am back in manual shift mode. Hope someone comes up
with a fix.

Same problem here, only the other way around. I use automatic shift, but
sometimes it switches to manual.

I find that happens when I change cars.

I find it happens if I change to a downloaded car setup but never to a setup
that I have created from the default setups. Only recently have I used any
other setups than mine and it has only happened since then. (I think!)

Same here... damn thing reverts to Automatic sometimes when starting
practice from the pits, and all I have to do is press F3 and then hit
the "Green Flag Button" to go back to practice and then it is Manual
shifting again (the first few times I would check the shifting option to
make sure it was on manual - it always was - but now I just do the F3
thing and then right back to the practice).

A patch would be nice...
