I am about to start building my own PC and I was just wondering which
graphics card would be best for gp2. My choice at the moment is a diamon
viper 330 AGP. Are there any other notable mentions or should I wait for the
voodoo 2? The system will have a PII 233.

The Viper is a good card, I haven't kept track of it's performance in GP2 but
it should at least be above average. No D3d accel so it's main feature is
useless.
The Voodoo is a definate buy...but....it will absolutely do NOTHING for GP2.
GP2 is a 2d only game and therefore the great 3d accel in a voodoo card is not
addressed. There are rumours of GP3, whoever codes it would have to be insane
not to make use of some sort of 3d accel.
the viper and the Voodoo2 should be a happy couple..
