According to High Gear, NASCAR 4 will only be released in North
America and Germany (!).

I know that some americans are going to say : "Here's for GP3, GP500
and so on", which I understand, but why is it so difficult to release
something world wide. Haven't they heard about the Internet ? Or that
W word not spoken on r.a.s. ?

Stupid...

erm? Have they not heard of the ASCAR series which is coming to the UK
which will surely increase the interest in all things NASCAR'ey?

Also, are they insane?

Which is at least one step better than NH. :-)
But why in the world Germany? They probably have done their
research, but I'm not aware of a NASCAR following over here.
And the sporadic coverage on EuroSport is the same for every-
one on this continent ...

So do what I did when Mig Alley first came out (UK only), mail order
N4 over the internet!

Of course you will have to excuse how we spell "color" here in the
US...

As a Canadian, I'm exposed to a hybrid form of spelling. Some things are
spelt the US way and some the UK way. The one I was surprised by was the UK
spelling of "Tyre". I just thought people were spelling it that way on
Newsgroups to be different  : )

DSF (Deutshes Sport Fernsehen) does carry summaries of the major (NASCAR)
races.

I think it's more "Haven't you heard about the internet ?".  There is plenty
of online *** stores where you will be able to buy Nascar Racing 4.  The
days of saying "I can't buy it because I'm in a foreign country" are over.

Hi,
I think the response may have been a little different if you lived
outside the USA/Canada..
Down here in OZ, we get ***y sick of being left out of everything,
simply because of our graphical location.
But is so easy for you guys in the USA/Canada to say, "so what", get it
on the internet...
Why the hell Germany then??
At least we HAVE a oval series here in Oz and still get kicked in the
faces for supporting the sim software houses.

The Americans are just mad at you for having such a good Olympics :)

Look on the bright side - at least Australia is regarded as a separate
country. Much of the world thinks of us Canadians as just wanna-be
Americans.

But then it seems that more and more online stores have adopted a
'no delivery outside of USA' policy over the last years. Or to be more precise,
it seems almost all acknowledge those pesky 'Not for sale outside of US'
markings on the packages these days.  So, which are those online stores
that will ship US versions to Europe regardless ? Any hints ?
