direct x 5. and Sierra Screaming 3d

I just downloaded the Cart PR demo and discovered I needed Direct X 5.
to run.  I then installed that and seemed to have lost my Sierra
drivers for the Screaming 3d card.  In display properties I am now
using the microsoft drivers.  If I try to reinstall my sierra drivers
I get a scrambled screen.  If I use the standard rendition drivers It
works but I would like to have my Sierra drivers back. Just wondered
if and of S3d owners out there have run into this and what you have
done.  Thanks for any help.

goto the video adapter types, set it to install screamin 3d, instead of
installing it from the cd, set the path to c:\windows\system and let it
read from there
try that

Thanks, that did the trick and I can still run the trial version of
CPR with hardware acceleration, unlike what I tried to do.  I
attempted to ... oh never mind...  I get goofed on all this direct x,
oem2, new game controller stuff.  Thanks again.
