Well, Atlanta is a past race by now and the grubbat dodge didn't have
anything to show for it. The engine blew while coasting around in 4th during
a yellow flag. Weirdest thing I have ever had with my dodge. Don't know yet
who won, but did stay to see some wrecks. I wont comment on them cause Jan
will do it later when he get caught up. Someone post how their race went. I
know that ole redneck bluestringer dropped a valve at the beginning of the
race, (he called me a redneck first), somebody got rearended on one of the
restarts, someone warped and caused a mess, and a bunch of us on teamspeak
were just a yapping cause we didn't have no car to drive.
See yall next week.

well I drifted  up into Mitch, apologies for that, glad it did not end his
race. My race ended thanks to a delayed reaction on my part. I ran a lot on
the open servers practicing for this race, and managed to dodge the worst
the papy servers could throw at me. Blew it in the race though.
Choked. Just plain choked.

Yep, my collar is blue, my hair is white, and my neck's always been red.
Grub, same thing happened to me. I was just pacing around about 50mph under
yellow, and the engine goes kapow. I gotta have a talk with the engine
department. It was fun just watching and yapping, but not as much fun as
turning laps.

I had good fun during the race, but you have probably witnessed some
driving which isn't exactly characteristic of #67. Well, Marco64 had
joined me for last night and we swapped seats under yellow a couple of
times (but luckily did not cause more than one ourselves ;-).

It was really nice being able to talk to you over TeamSpeak. Mitch, if
Ed needs help with the website tell him to contact me at the address
in the signature.

Cheers,
uwe

Miller Lite Dodge was fast on new tires and ***after 10 laps.  Goodyear
really needs to goto a softer tire and get rid of the aero-push.  We dodged
alot of wrecks and only got dinged a couple times,  managed to get into the
Top 10.  Then with 2 to go,  Fernando tne rascar new guy passed me, so I
got 11th.  Great racing ya!
See ya.

NP Jon it happens.  Just curious what your thought process was at that
point?  We weren't to halfway and I wasnt really fightin ya at all.  I
really just lucked out my car wasnt totaled, I did have damage that cost me
2-3 mph.  Just enough to not be competitive :(  Still managed 6th though so
it didnt bother me too much.  Im more concerned of patterns developing than
an occasional tap.

...and may I ask, what were the thought processes of the #67 driver, who
entered the racing groove seconds ahead of us a full 60 mph off the pace?
This led to the situation we found ourselves in (which I mishandled).

Not mad about it, more like amazed...

Youre exactly correct regarding the #67.  Without making it entirely public
the offender has offered a reason and promised not to let it happen again.
I feel good that it won't :-)

Speaking of which, the setup is a *** to drive. What times are people
running so far?

See my post above, N2k3: Phoenix.....
I can run low 30.0xx even a rare 29.x but as soon as I try to push it I spin
going into three. If I try to carry any speed into that corner I have to
take it high and lose any speed advantage on lap times.  I don't think
running a half groove high in 1 and 2 hurts times nearly as much.

I might as well make it "really" public ;-) I swapped seats a couple
of times with Marco64 (who is on the roster btw) and he hadn't gotten
around to practise much before the event. He happened to be hopping
over for a couple of beers on Saturday night, so there...

I think I made an apology a day after the race here on RAS.

Cheers,

uwe
