bluestringer
just hit the 29.3's, but it might not matter much here, 15 laps and my
fronts are yellow.

bluestringer
noticed the bottoming out thing myself. Ran a race on Sierra a minute ago at
54 deg, it was even worse.

It's not you, I think it even says that in the readme for the patch.

No... not terribly. I really should get out there and see what wear is like
with the <fast> setup.

I ran 28.4s in a draft during an open setup race earlier this week, so the
faster guys should be high 28's on their own. Using the <fast> setup that'll
problaby junk the tyres in under 20 laps, but that's good. <g>

Avoid the rabbits, let 'em run. If traffic lets you keep a smooth line, start
out in the high 29s. 29.8 or higher. But stay as smooth as possible. A 29.8
with you having to steer all over cause of traffic will do just as much harm to
the tires as a flat out 29.2 with no traffic.
If you can stay easy on the tires early you'll make the full fuel run on tires
and you won't drop off pass low to mid 31s.
