F1 2000 Yes or No?

by kcgen » Tue, 25 Apr 2000 04:00:00

I have a store credit at Software Etc. and was thinking about buying F1
2000. Being a big F1 fan and already having MGPRS 2, is it worth getting?

Thanks,

Chris G

Yes, but I hope your system is toward the high-end.  Some people are
unsatisfied with the framerates.  Runs ok on my P2-400 with a V3 3000,
however.

This morning I installed F1Rs to compare with F1 2000.
After 15 minutes I removed it, F1 2000 is much better.

Yes.

It's much better than MGPRS2 in my opinion.

Yes .  Had it didn't like it.  Then I read Allison Hine's post about
her favorable review of the game.  Gave it a second chance. For
hotlapping  it really is a lot of fun. The AI has definate problems
during race and qualifying but for hotlapping fun factor is only
second to GPL.

Depends. If hotlapping is what you're looking for then this might be
something. If you want full featured races stay with MGPRS, it's a
much more serious attempt to 'simulate' F1. Also keep in mind the
hardware reqs and thus resulting quality image/ and speedwise...
