It's not shareware - you gotta pay for it if you want the real deal.

Dave Noonan has already given the Sim Racing community so much
for free and all of it superb quality.  Because of his proven
track record I had no problems paying for the GPL Converter.

If you want Dave Noonan to continue working his miracles then I
suggest you buy the converter from him.  If you don't want to
pay for it then you will have to go without.

Chris

Firstly, no I don't. It's fine value and an excellent product, but I
prefer to keep my GPL-ing to F1 circuits. That's not to say I might not
get the plastic out eventually....

Secondly, and more importantly, no. Dave Noonan has worked very ***
his product, and it's entirely his decision how (or even if!) he makes
it available. If he wanted to charge 200 and make everyone who got it
sign a solemn pledge to shout "Koosh Ball" every time they used it,
then he could. In other words, either pay your money honestly or don't
use it.

Any full version posted would be "warez" - to put it in plain language,
theft. And this isn't a binaries NG in any case....

Well, for the record, Riverside is an F1 course, as is the new Glen. Well,
ok, the new Glen *with* the boot is an F1 course. Dave, can ya teak it for
us? No 60's F1 track collection is complete without Riverside.

Laguna Seca isn't an F1 course, but it's a mighty fine track and an
international course at least. I have right here sitting before me an R&T
report of a certain S. Moss winning the 1960 Pacific Grand Prix there. Ok,
it was for sports cars, but there's really little to distiguish a Lotus 19
from an 18. Just a bit of extra space for your lunch box really.

Of course, Laguna is also the site of the Monterey Historic meets, so damn
near everything that's ever been made has been actually raced there in some
form or another. Consider it an F1 vintage race and go for it.

Unless you can find a warez copy. Not that I premote the use of warez,
but it's bound to be available on an FTP server or binary newsgroup
sooner or later.

No...of course you don't premote (sic) it. You deliberately steer well clear
of even _mentioning_ it!
