Now I'm sick and tired of all the people that place Mr Noonan
somewhere between God and Christ!
The guy decided to SELL his software, so he's now part of the bad
guys! I say, let's burn him with all the others!
Where's the patch for that unuseable piece of ***he sells as a
converter, eh? It's been a few weeks since it's been released and
still we don't hear anything about a patch? We want a patch!
Frank
PS: My hard drive crashed, can anyone send me the converter again via
e-mail?

Hum... Once again, Internet's multi-cultural barrier strikes...
Maybe my english is not good enough to convey sarcasm... Ok then I'll
explain:
You guys are usually pretty tough critics for any sim developper that
comes up. So I was referring to that toughness on developpers when I
said that Dave (who is now a commercial software developper since he
sells software that he develops) should receive the same tough critics
as others do.
And then, I advanced a few examples, wich are (or so I thought) quite
familiar to us on R.A.S. :
1- Asking for a patch. That one's so obvious I shouldn't even explain
but I will. When a new piece of software hits the rack, we usually
find all the bugs within a few weeks and ask for a patch. Now since
Dave's converter has been out for a few weeks I was asking where was
the patch. That's the first place where people should be laughing, ar
at least smiling.
2- Asking for someone to send a copyrighted program via e-mail. Now
that is something I've seen so often but it still makes me smile when
I see someone coming back with that scheme... People find the
funniest excuses, like "my CD is scratched" or "I deleted it by
mistake" or whatever. I agree that this one was not ment to inspire a
loud burst of laughter, but still I wish some of you would've raised
an eyebrow and smiled...
Oh well... Maybe I'm not as talented as I thought I was... I think
I'll just crawl under my desk now and disappear from RAS for a few
months... Sorry Bruce...

FYI, I am led to believe he is working on updates for the
converted tracks.

I hope one of those updates is the Boot for the Glen!! By the looks of
it, Track section 50 would have to be split up. The entrance would jet off
of that and then section 53 or 54 would again have to be split up for the
exit of the boot. From there, I would assume the rest of the sections would
have to be remade or at least renumbered. I have in car video of the boot
and could get many photos for it. I'm also sure that the Glen web page has
elevation figures for it. If not, I can get it from the right people. So,
everything that's needed is easily got with the exception of the programmer
to do it.
