I have recently changed computers and my Wheel and Peddles didn't work
correctly. I began downloading patches and all kinds of other ***and now
they don't work at all. They calibrate in windows, but apparently they are
not detected in DOS. What can I do?

It sounds as if your soundcard/gameport are not setup for DOS. Check
the manual for instructions on loading drivers for DOS sessions or call
the tech support for the computer you now have.
