T2 Wheel-CH Peddles

T2 Wheel-CH Peddles

by MAC » Fri, 25 Jul 1997 04:00:00

Today, smart or not,( since the new wheels are on the way) I bought the T2
system since I wanted 270* of wheel  rotation , instead of the 90* the my
VPPro offers , giving me "fine" control

I really want to use my CH Peddles instead of the nightmare T2
peddles(spring breakage).

I'm having problems setting this combination up.....it almost looks like
the wheel uses the "X" axis of joy1 and the peddles want to use the "X"
axis of joy2.

This may all be just fine as far as N2 is concerned , I have'nt tried yet ,
but for win95 calibration it's not working out.

Has anyone tried this combination?

I used my T2 for over 6 months every day for a few hours, and nairy a
spring break.  Lots of steering pots though.

Well I have a T/M GP1 and CH pedals.Works great! I just plug the GP1
into the CH pedals, and the pedals into my joyswitch box.I love not having
to take my hand off the wheel to shift.

It depends on the manufacture date of the T2.  If it is before 11/96,
you will need an adaptor plugged in between the Joystick port and the
T2 connector.  This will wheel and pedals on the same axis.  Then you
should be able to use it in Win95 programs.   If you don't have an
adaptor contact Thrustmaster and they will send you one. (see end of
message for contact info.)

Or you could try reconfiguring your joystick in Win95:
Go into Custom in joystick Config..
In Custom make it a 2 Axes & 2 Button.. On Special Features Mark Is A
race Controller..
