HELP - NASCAR Pro Wheel calibration in GP2

by George Kleynhan » Sat, 27 Dec 1997 04:00:00

I recently got a NASCAR Pro wheel and would like to calibrate it for GP2;
however, GP2 does not calibrate when using the separate option for the
pedals.
My problem begins when I try to calibrate "Joystick A" - Steering and
acceleration.
I am able to move the wheel left and right for the horizontal settings and
up for the acceleration setting.  Then, it asks to move the joystick down
and I don't know what to do(?)  I have the same problem with Joystick B
which is used for the brake.
The instruction booklet that came with the wheel mentions that there are
prompts for throttle and brake.  I do not see these options in my
calibration procedure.  Always, for each joystick, I am prompted to move the
joystick left-right-top-bottom.

Does anybody know how to get the NASCAR Pro to calibrate properly in GP2?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

George

Use the "control driven calibration" option available from the advanced
control configuration dialog box.
