New Momo probs - any suggestions?

Thanks to the constant praise from all you lot, I have lashed out and
picked up a logi Momo wheel the other day. Very impressive so far, and
with some tweaking I think it shall go far :)

The only problem I have found so far is that suddenly windows won't
shut down, it just keeps clicking, HDD led flashes and that's it.
Anyone else had this problem, or know of a fix?

Windows ME BTW.

I recently had the same problem with a new network card.
Are you using a different usb port? If you are check your motherboard manual
for a resource chart.
The slot I put my network card in shared resources with a usb hub, maybe
you've got the reverse situation.

Interesting, I do have a network card in my machine. But I have had
other usb devices and never had any problems. As it turns out, both
are sharing interrupt 10, you may be onto something here...

Rafe,

I tried everything untill someone tipped me off about shared resources. I
moved the network card and everythings been OK since.
Admittedly my problems were caused by adding the network card but the
resource was shared with the USB so I can't see why the reverse couldn't
happen.
Must be worth the effort to move the network card.

BTW mines ME too

What if you don't have any free interrupts left?  That would suck... :(
