If you just happen to make a bad entry to your pit stall and get to close to
the wall your crew cant change left side tires.  My question, is their a way
to stop or reverse or some way to go back and make your crew change your
lefts without exiting pitroad and coming back in?  I'd gladly trade a few
seconds lost instead of laps.

Thx

I don't think so.  I've screwed myself with this before as well...

I also accidently won a race I never should have when this happened once :)
I only got 2 tires, and damned if everyone else didn't get 4 !

If you practice some pitstops this situation will be rare, but if it does
happen, you have a brief time to correct it b4 they jack up the car.
Spotter will tell you you're too close, hit reverse and reposition the car.

This may or may not help with what you are looking for...   But just last week
end I discovered there are 'pit marks' on your pit to show you where to
position the car.  (I found them by accident..)..  The only way I have seen
them and had luck using them is to go to the 'high chase view' as you come down
pit road and you will be able to see them.  It still takes a little practice to
hit them just right and not be to forward or back, but they do get  you in the
middle of the pit.

Hope this helps........

I found this last week end--there are pit marks for your pit!  I switch to the
'high chase' view as I come down pit road and you can see the marks and
position the car correctly for centering, it takes a little practice to get the
'forward/back' positionng down just right...

So you jump up on the roof to see these 'marks?'   I'm
shocked...stunned..well I'm that anyways...but you will notice if you line
up with the pit board, the crew will DIP IT when you are jusssssst right...

The problem is, if the spotter is spewing off about something else, like
"the pace car is in turn 1" or whatever, he won't STFU and tell you the
really important stuff.  He blabbers on and finally gets around to it, and
by that time it's too late.

That has always annoyed me about the spotter in NR.  More critical spotter
messages do not over-ride the useless blabbering.

No I don't jump on the roof...I just use the page down key and pretend my
spotter is giving me the correct information....

That was one of the first things I noticed in 03, was the tape marks in the
stall. I thought it a pretty good idea when I first saw them. And I can't
gauge stopping distances worth a darn from outside the car, so I just watch
closely over the nose as I come in and I generally see the front/left one
enough to guide me in the rest of the way.

And here's another variation on your sig,

A Good friend will help you move....A True friend will help you move a body.
