NR2003 G&T patch question

I've just downloaded the NR2003 gas & tire fumes patch. I didn't have any
trouble with the installation, so I don't think that's the problem. The gas
fumes while I'm in pit lane are really quite realistic, but I noticed that
the tire fumes when I spin out, especially at Atlanta, have a slight smell
of burning electronics. Has anyone else noticed this? My computer is fine,
so I don't think it's hurting anything and most of the time the fumes are
pretty convincing.

Dude u using OpenGL ?

Open GL doesnt support that patch very well

Try directX, must be 9.0 ! also go to the smell tab
in the options menu and turn level up above 130 %

I had the same problem and this fixed it.

BTW ........... Can i have my pipe back ?

Thanx ...

OpenGL supports it fine, it's just that it's better in D3D.  It's a known
exploit, the kids using D3D can smell the fumes twice as much, I know it for
a fact, a beta tester told me.  But just keep that between you and me, you
know, NDA's and all that.
