I am wondering if anyone can tell me what the following numbers in the
player.ini file mean?

eg
[ silver ]
lotP = 984282407     92.012001                  ; Best lap time

OK I gather that the second number is the laptime in seconds, but what is
the first number?

It's the date you drove the lap.

Probably in seconds in 1-1, 1980 or 1-1-70
