Run F12K in W2K with FF!

Has anyone else run this under windows 2000.
The game used to run good for me in 98 - but only if i disabled Force
Feedback (which seemed to kill the frame rate) - i had everything else
maxed out though.

At the weekend i installed Windows 2000 - I gave F1 2000 a go
(expecting it to run badly) and it ran as smooth as Windows 98. I then
enabled the FF and it DID NOT slow down!

I'm now running it with everything at max - mirrors on - FF on - Max
Cars/Distances and i have NO slowdown at the beginning of a race (all
cars are viewable!) I just see a lot of smoke before the first corner
:)

I have tried it on nearly all the tracks and i can not see it slowing
at all. Funny really as when i bought this i checked to see if it is
W2k compatible as i would be upgrading and all i could find was
something along the lines of 'we do not support this game in NT/W2000'
- It runs BETTER for me!

My Specs are

192 Meg
Abit BH6
Aureal A3D 2
Geforce DDR
Microsoft FF Wheel

Is it just me? Or has anyone else had this?

As far as I know Logitec FF is not supported under W2K yet (at least
not with force feedback)...
