GN1970 physics...

Hit the refresh button a few more times.   I regularly see close to 100
servers.  Of course...there is very little open online racing as you
stated.  I'd suggest checking out a league like TPTCC or other rF leagues
that are forming up.  We have practices nearly every night and racing every
week right now in a TEST type season.  (no points til we shake it down to
our satisfaction)

Nascar Thunder and rF share a similar heritage but rF has a much newer
graphics and multiplayer engine.  The Aussie V8 mod is Sedan type
extension of the original cars,(no new models there yet) and the Formula
Nippon also takes existing models and edits the physics to, I've read, good
results.
I personally prefer the 'feel' of the GTR cars ontrack to the Howston in
Rf...it feels too much like it's skating more that driving.  But I think as
mods develop, we'll see rF grow.  I had a friend who's just a casual
simmer, he wanted to know about rF,  I told him to hold off for now.  You
just won't have enough content to keep you happy.  Yet I'm using it nearly
every night for league and mod activity.
