Just reinstalled GPL after some months and it freezes when I try and
configure the MS FF wheel. Any suggestions.
I am using 2x12mb Diamond 3DFX cards on a 450 P2 machine with 256 ram
(drivers for the 3dfx card are the 2.05 version, which are the only ones
that seem to allow GPL to work on my machine).

What version is your glide2x.dll?  If it is 2.54, that's your problem.  You
need to run version 2.53.  You can place it directly in your gpl directory
to make this dll GPL specific.  You can get it from --
http://www.shadows.com/nascar/
