A freind of mine has a 486/66 8MB Ram & his graphics are very choppy.
I have a pentium/90 and everything is ok.  what we weren't sure
of was does he have to get a pentium/90 or can increase the speed
of his 486.  *MB of RAM should be ok shouldn't it.  Any advice
would be helpful.

Just a personal note on my situation.  I dropped in an extra 8 megs of RAM, to
bring my 486/66 to 16 megs, and about the only difference I found with NASCAR
or ICR2 is that occasionally I get the trees or signage that is alongside the
track.

I run with cars on, smoke on, and nearly everything else on auto.

Get a DX4100 or 120.  I have a AMDDX4120 and NASCAR is running close to
Pentium 90 speeds.  Cheaper too!
