I am planning on buying a Creative Labs 3D blaster for my racing fun.
I understand it does NOT come bundled with ICR2. I own a non Rendition
copy of it. Is there a patch or update or something so I can enjoy the
Rendition version? Is it just a new executable like Quake, or is the
whole game rewritten? Thanks

If you haven't already bought the card, don't. Get the Intergraph Reactor
instead. It's $50 cheaper (until 12/31) and support is MUCH MUCH better than
creative labs will ever hope to provide.

No there is not a patch, 5 of the tracks have been redone with 16-bit
textures. Why don't you just buy the Intergraph Reactor or Sierra
Screamin'3D that come with the bundled version. BTW, The Reactor is
only $149.

The Reactor is Junk. U will not go wrong with the blaster.
Ask around. someone has the CD. I got me a free copy from some guy who
returned his reactor, He also got the Blaster.
Rick Carlson Reactor/Intense 3D is a great card!!!
