NFS Porsche

Years ago I owned a 356 Porsche, a lovely little '58 A Coupe. When I first
heard of this title I was very sceptical, not being a fan of the NFS series,
but I'm a convert today. The A coupe in the game feels very much like I
remember my car, the steering, braking and accelerating, even the bit of
fender you can see from the drivers seat is correct. Somebody spent a lot of
time driving these things to get the feel so spot on.

It had been a while since I'd driven a rear engined car but it all came back
quickly...DON"T LIFT IN A TURN<vbg>. On my wedding day, my best man and I
went for a drive through the foothills of Santa Barbara. I was so nervous
and distracted that I kept overdriving the car, going in to the corners too
deep and lifting too late...instant oversteer. After spinning the car for
the second time, I gave it over to a rather ashen faced Jeff, who proceded
to give me back a bit of my own<g>.

I'll be spending quite a bit of time with this one.
