Hi,

I've got a 12 meg Creative labs Voodoo II PCI board, and am looking to add a
second card to use in SLI mode.

I see that Comp USA has 3DFX Voodoo II 1000 boards on sale, new for $50
which includes the price of a rebate ($70 without).

I'm concerned about mixing brands of V2 cards.. Will I run into any
problems?

If so... Does anyone know where I can find a cheap Creative Labs V2 12 meg
board ???

as long as the memory is as good(fast) and the same size , it should be just
fine

Better check this out first before you buy, afaik the cars have to be
of the same size AND of the same brand. But I'm not 100% sure. Anyone?

Generally fine so long as you use reference drivers. I have heard of someone
mixing 8 & 12Mb cards, but I wouldn't recommend it.
