GPL Rollbar view?

Why not? Let's not start that arcade vs in-car view thread from NROS'
newgroup.

As to the question at hand,  I don't remember what it was, but awhile back
someone noted the tip on how to do it...its in one of the ini files I do
believe.

Because I would like to race with that view, it's like the "over the nose
view" in MGPRS2. I have a hard time with the in***pit view, and I don't
like the outside view.

Yes, there is. In your PLAYER.INI, found in your player folder, change
drivingView = x to drivingView=12.

Please note that there is no mirror available in this view. If you
tend to race online, this will not be appreciated by your fellow
drivers. Also note that if you hit F10, this setting is lost and
you've to alter PLAYER.INI again.

    I take that back..  If I had a view of the roll bars in action I'd
have a better understanding of them.  Probably what would help most
would be to be able to see the other two corners of the suspension as
well rather then just the LF and RR.

GPL Rollbar view?

Wrong bars. He's talking about the Roll Over bar above the drivers head.
You seam to be talking about the Anti Roll Bar's. And yes, you can use
the Roll Bar view in a race. Just open your player.ini file in your
players/namehere folder and edit the drivingView bit in the player
information part. Change it from 1 to 12 and presto. Although, you won't
have any mirrors or access to the pit board.
