Problem with NROS and NASCAR 1999 Edition

by Steve Ow » Thu, 31 Dec 1998 04:00:00

I just installed NASCAR 1999 Edition on my computer... all works fine
by itself.   I then copied over a bunch of setups and tracks from my
original NASCAR 2 install over to the track directories in NASCAR 1999
(being careful not to overwrite anything).  I then installed the
latest NROS enablers in the NASCAR 1999 directory.  I fired up NROS,
went into preferences, and told it the new location of the nros.exe
file...

But now when I run NROS and join a race, I get to the "pit screen" and
it says "please reinstall track".  Does it for any track I've tried.

I've had NROS working fine with NASCAR 2.

Anyone know what might be up?

Steve,

N1999 will NOT work on Ten/NROS. I too thought the same especially since
NROS files/directory  came
on the N1999 CD.

Now I only have 4 Sierra Nascar sims     1. Nascar 2
                                                                      2.
Nascar 1999
                                                                      3.
Nascar 2 with NROS
                                                                      4.
